Elminated the mass produce Pork, Poultry, and Beef from the diet over 2 months ago. Watched everything eaten much closer. Finding subtitutes for Protien, calcium, and iron has been a rewarding experience on its own.
I'm not one to discuss, but I stand firm that people need meat and plants to survive. All we need to know and consider is how to balance our consumption of such. I also highly disapprove of what PETA and its extremist vegetarian ways.
Sorry, but you're wrong. People do not need to eat meat, unless they have unusual dietary requirements. Please read the rest of this thread.
Evoultion dictates that we need to eat meat. The shape of our teeth, the inherent desire to eat meat. It's in DNA, unmistakably.
That would rock considering the direction your going on this. I don't eat veal anymore but am not vegetarian.
umm...so does this like,mean,if I raise a couple cows,a few pigs,& shoot a couple deer,I'm hurting the environment?Get a grip.Look up Brazil's soy production.second to the U.S.Guess where it's being grown?in what used to be rainforest!
Nice point. I understand individual preferences when it comes to food, but to say that hunting or eating meat is dangerous to the environment, that's a stretch.
