everyone cries for less gov...until they're the ones that need the services. I really despise my government right now -- especially those at the very top. But I'm not foolish enough to believe that less government is the answer. It is our centralized government that makes us a society. Whether I like the laws or not, I know that whether I travel to Utah or New Jersey, I still will have the same basic rights, and I can expect the same basic services. What I do see as the answer to many of our current problems is an economic revolution. Cliche as it might be, I think the proletariat needs to rise up against their oppresors and seize what is theirs. The rich have too much power and they're not going to give it away in any scenario. It simply must be taken back from them.
JOB FORECAST FOR COLLEGE GRADUATES http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/education/jan-june05/graduates_5-09.html According to some employment experts, the present job outlook for current college graduates is looking decent. I do realize that we will have to wait a few more months to see how this current job growth holds up.
We were a society long before we gave all states' rights to the federal government. Government does not make a society. I would much rather see a bit more local government rather than put all that power in the hands of a few rich men. I do agree that an economic revolution would be nice, but won't ever happen, not voluntarily, not without a crisis like a depression. People are too comfortable to protest what it is that makes them comfortable. We're all benefitting from our economic system, so who would want to end it? Not till it's ending already will people actually try to right some wrongs. Until then, they'll stay fat and happy in their obliviousness and turn a blind eye to the wrongs they see.
