In the past I've only used lube for masturbation when using my FleshLight. However, I am undergoing a circumcision in a few weeks which, I presume will mean that I will probably have to use lube all the time. Although having said that, I have been with many cut guys who don't use lube at all - but then, they were cut as infants - I haven't come across anyone else who's had to go through the process as a sexually active adult.

 

@PineMan I would think that 51 is a high-risk age group for circumcision, at least in Australia. Not many Doctors will do it, if at all, only on infants under special request or arrangement (e.g. on religious or cultural grounds).

 

i presume that will mean you can't masturbate at all for a substantial amount of time.

once you can though, i don't see why lube would be any more necessary for you than for any other circumcised person.

 

It has been considered by my consultant urologist to be medically necessary, due to scar tissue from a former injury causing frequent splitting, thus gradually increasing the tightness of the foreskin. It is certainly not something I would opt for if I didn't have to.

Furthermore, the only risk factor would normally be from the anaesthetic, but as I am having it done as a day case under local anaesthetic, that risk does not apply.

I wasn't given that choice (Read: American/RIC). Yeah, I got a major resentment about that.

Yes, I still have my foreskin. I use lube or olive oil sometimes when I want to masturbate & other times I just don't use any. Sometimes if I have precum, then no need to lube up.
