I see this Cloverfield thing is coming out now along with a whole bunch of 911 bullshit. Like a Jackson distraction deal. i bet the movie Cloverfield will blow like Monica Lewinsky.
i agree i think Cloverfield will fail to live up to the hype. Ofcourse i could be wrong about that though, it might be good.. but i think most of the movie is from one of the characters' handycam (ala blair witch style but probly a little better i would hope) other than some of the special effects that were already seen on the previews. I just think it might suck thats all. Previews make it look a lot better than it may actually be...
visions of suffering is a russian horror movie. watch it and you will be wondering were you got the bad acid! see it when high it might cause perment brain damage!
I haven't found a horror movie that truly scares me, though I know my good horror movie buddy who I go to the movies and Horror Fest with said that Session 9 is the only movie that actually scared him. I saw it for myself and was at the edge of my seat a few times but never scared. Either way, it's good! Slow at times, but fast at others!
i will second session 9. another really, really great horror movie simmuler to session 9, is the 1964 version of the movie 'the haunting.' whatever you do, DON'T get the 1999 remake of 'the haunting;' it is one of the worst peices of shit i have ever seen!
Sadly Danver State Lunatic Assylum in Massachusetts is no longer standing but ghosts are still said to haunt the surrounding countryside https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7XXd1nVpu30 Hotwater
Oddly enough Northampton State Hospital in Western Massachusetts has a similar history built in 1855 for the insane If only those walls could talk Hotwater
i watched a bit of "Hostel" tonight, but i had to turn it off its a horrible horrible film, i turned it on just as it got to the torture scenes..... where do people think this stuff up? I cant really say if it was a good film, but the 5 minutes i saw were disturbing.
wandering circle, you need to see lucio fulci's movie 'a cat in the brain.' fulci made a lot of movies like hostel, in fact he got the title of 'maestro of gore' for his movies. eli roth, the guy who wrote and directed hostel has even praised fulci for making roth the director he is today! in 'a cat in the brain' fulci not only directs it, he stars in it also. fulci portrays himself, as a movie director who is losing his sanity, and is being consume by depravity, murder, madness, and extreme violence. ONE HELL OF A GREAT SPLATTERPUNK HORROR MOVIE... I GIVE FIVE OUT OF FIVE STARS! some of us members of hip forums, have one very, very, very strange ideal of entertainment!
you must watch The Mirror House on Hunted Hill Wrong Turn 1 & 2 alot of horrer movies i know if any body want to ask i m availbe here
The exorcist made me laugh. and Shrooms was really really dumb. I guess there is a twist but its easy to figure out about 10-20 minutes before it happens.
The movie Borderland was kinda spooky since its based off a true story but it has the kid from Boy Meets World in it. Not the main kid but his friend that's supposed to be "the cute one" was in that movie.
The Exorcist is the one one that really ever scared me, but mainly cos I watched it when I was like 10
