yea, not much grows around here, i live a few minutes away from DC, i'm guessing that this isnt much of a shroom growing habitat.
Your shrooms don't look psychoactive from this perspective, but the gills should be a dark purple because the spores are dark purple, grab a shroom take it home, put the cap on a piece of paper towel for a few hours, and press on the stem. If a dark purple shows up (not light purple, not black, just a darker purple) and the stem bruises blue, you can be fairly sure that its psychoactive. Then try to find which species it is, look for shrooms that grow in your area, and also search of mimics that grow in your area. If you cant identify it after looking at pics, dont bother eating it.
I'd say no just because they don't look like they are. But to find out, you need a lot more than a picture: measurments of the cap width, measurments of the stem, a spore print, a colour description and a bruising description. Don't go picking or eating until you know enough to identify properly.
Dude you dont need measurements, you just need a general idea of size, my buddy grows shrooms and every single time the same species turns out a different size.
