My first guess is that it might be all about socialization, but that would probably be an oversimplification. Physically and hormonally, women have a lot more going on with sex and reproduction than men do. Everything is more complicated for us.

I do know that when we orgasm, we produce a hormone that triggers partner bonding, but it isn't an all-powerful hormone. In other words, it doesn't turn us into lovesick zombies who can't think rationally. We can learn to control those feelings, if we try.

Fear of pregnancy is definitely a big factor for some women. That's why cougars are often more adventurous than college age girls.

I've only been there in the daytime; ate lunch at Hard Rock Café, drank at Sloppy Joe's, walked down Duval Street. I really shouldn't say "walked". More accurately, staggered. :2thumbsup: Fucked in the pool that night, at Key Largo.

But I really can't say enough good things about New Orleans. Now that my favorite hotel has gotten to know me, and know that I'm not affiliated with any kind of law enforcement, they really treat me right. Before I get there, the concierge has lined me and my husband up with high-end escorts, drug dealers, tickets to sold-out shows, voodoo mystics, whatever the hell we want. No limits.

Vegas is stuffy by comparison. I've heard that only Montreal comes close to NO, if you don't want to fly across the Atlantic. San Francisco? Shit, the locals go to Vegas for fun these days. I've made good connections in Atlanta, but it took a lot of time and effort. On a road trip, HotLanta is like a warm-up act for the French Quarter.

 

The brain is a learning computer, works a lot on pattern matching, When younger and more naive everyone tends to go by what people say and dont really question it. And most of what the brain does happens under the hood without you subconsciously realizing it.


But as one gets older and hears the same lie 10,000 times , matched against body language, sneaky glances, even just the change in the pitch of their voice when they lie, the same cliches thrown about, having to re-affirm things too many times with that nervous pitch....or once you meet the same 'type' a hundred times they say this and that, but 10 years later it comes out they were pretty much doing the exact opposite.....then it becomes, hang on, how much of everything is bullshit?

it's neither extreme. men masturbate, they admit they masturbate, they talk about it some, they don't generally do it in front of each other.

i've met two people who claimed not to masturbate, one of each gender.

I'm not going to get too deep into this, but it's actually a misunderstood similarity between men and women. Both sexes are generally competitive. Men tend to be openly competitive, and often assume that all women stick together. Actually, we just do a better job in most cases of keeping the backstabbing out of public view. I've learned from experience that I'd much rather supervise an office full of men than women. It's a lot easier to figure out the personal conflicts.

At the wilder parties at my college, there was an element of danger because some of the guys were not just fun, harmless people. So, I sort of made a truce with two other party girls, since we were just having fun and weren't competing for serious relationships at that time, so we could watch each other's backs. We would often say something to each other at a party like, "I'm going with John Doe to his room. I should be back in less than an hour." That arrangement worked out extremely well, and we are still friends today.

A more common security arrangement is the traditional "sidekick", an unattractive girl who follows a hot girl around, and gets the hot girl's sexual and romantic leftovers in exchange for serving as a witness to everything that goes down. In recent years, the sidekick is increasingly likely to participate in a M-F-F threesome, or be in the same room for conventional one-on-one sex with two guys. I'm not a big fan of that setup, because it's demeaning to be anyone's sidekick. Even though the two girls always appear to be tight, there has to be a truckload of resentment there.

I think there would be more single women willing to be openly sexually adventurous with men if there was a way to eliminate the risk of violence attached to it. The natural difference in size and strength makes that impossible. I think that is also playing a role in the bi-curious experimentation trend among mostly straight young women.

Sometimes females can learn to set aside our natural competitive impulses in online forums, because it's unlikely that we will ever know any of the same people, so competition is pointless. That's what I'm trying to do.

 

Well, I don't feel competitive, because I already think I am better. I'm a beautiful, sexy woman. I do feel like I don't like the catty childishness of most females and the fact that most of them can't be trusted. I don't like the tone in which I am addressed or the stupidity in replies.
How you derived a competitive attitude from that, I don't know. I've always had mostly male friends or been a loner. I'm an artist and a deep thinker.

Like it or not, some of that goes with the territory in online forums. No way to fix that. Those who are easily offended usually don't stick around.

It can be hard to figure people out online. There's a lot we don't know about each other, and a lot of limitations in written posts.

This is my experience as well.

Women can't stop talking about who they are fucking and who they'd like to fuck in the most inappropriate of places (work, etc.). It's not uncommon to see men completely cowed down, grimacing and looking away, sighing, huffing, and puffing, and whistling, trying their damnedest to send a signal for women to stop talking about their dirty laundry while they keep running their mouths to anyone who'll hear. Most of the time, in painful detail.

I don't see where people get this stuff that women hide it from.

They play games, yes. But hide, no. In other words, exactly the opposite of everything I find tasteful and sexy.

Wouldnt have even been the type of guys there were into whether back at the age you are talking about or now. And certainly by the sounds of it, hasnt been both QS and Sams experience to ever trust another girl when it came to MEN they really wanted.

All those memories of those college days have been re-imagined all so often over the last couple decades, re-imagined by how you wanted things to go, not by how they actually went, that you dont even remember correctly anymore anyway.

Which brings us to the real reason you would post something like that. Both have said they dont get on with other women, so by default arent really going to listen to other chics anyway. That just sounded all about attention and reminiscing about that, Nothing in there about getting the MEN they really want

That is more like it, because with a bunch of women its too damn complicated working out all the sneaky stuff, who actually wants who, who actually is friends with who and not fake, which ones are going to stab you in the back whilst acting like your new best friend. Stuff often takes months, even years to work out

A lot of women end up getting screwed over because they will go for the overprotective douchebag that shows them a lot of attention, but more likely to get violent becuase they are insecure or threatened too easy...who are always bad lovers, or for guys that have money that become selfish lovers as that becomes the trade, well I pay for everything so its her job to do stuff for me in the bedroom. and I think QS and Sam already know this.

Thread title is Are women just as freaky as men are? More so in the sense that once guys blow their load they dont suffer from blueballs for a while, stuff doesnt build up with them like it does with some chics, especially the chics that can only really get off with very specific types of men.

Everything pretty much every other chic has told them is complete bullshit. They dont get on with other women, they'll all crap on about the deep connection they have with hubby but never secure enough with that to let either of them anywhere near the hubby. Most guys are kind of the same they'll all say they wish girls were more aggressive, but wont take either of them seriously as marriage material because they are hornier than most to easy for them to stray. Both of them wondering do I do the marriage and kids thing, when I'm not really all that interested in that, most of the ones I see do that end up miserable. I'd rather just get my freak on.

This is the way it really is, but everyone pretends its not.

Where are all the real men?, how do they get the ones they really want. How do they get a guy out of their league to chase, give attention, spend a bunch of money, finally get them into the bedroom after months of talking, where they just lie there, he has to do everything, perform and hold back coming for 8 hrs whilst they come 20 times.

That is the answer, that supposed power over men never existed, when it comes to the ones you all really want, like a swarm of pidgeons fighting over a spoonful of the last remaining birdseed
