She and I had some rather lengthy discussions. I believe we were getting on quite well, and rather abruptly...she just *disappeared*. She mentioned her Mother and Father to me, but never said anything about her Mother disapproving (or even being aware of) this site.

I'd love to compare notes between what she told you, and told me...but I suppose that would be rather unkind. I don't disclose personal info that is discussed privately...and I'm sure that you don't either.

damn, i've only had lengthy PMs with a handful of people, and that's always after getting to know them pretty well on the forums first. am i weird and most people are having deep secret conversations as soon as they join, and the forums are just here for backup convo?

yeah, you're definitely one of us now.

people either disappear within their first couple weeks, or they stay here for years. there doesn't seem to be much in between.
