I've never heard of that stereotype before.

What's the stereotype given to Americans? Gun-toting murderers?

 

Is that how you refer to folks who beat you in three wars and then pulled your asses out of the fire in at least two others. If so then so be it.
And yes that is a common stereotype of the English. Tour your big museum there in London if you doubt your folks are big time looters.

 

If you are stereotyping Americans, do not forget to mention "fat" somewhere.

I'm a little more reasonable than that.
I find out their name and call them by that. Then get to know who they are.
I think it's called 'relationships'.

I was just being a tad unreasonable and over generalising.

I've been there. It's a lovely place. I don't think the entire British public went globe-trotting around the world collecting (or stealing, if you will) antiquities.
I think the British have done a few more admirable things than that over the last four thousand years.

I thought we were talking about the British not the English. It's quite possible she is British (it includes parts of Ireland).
