y'all say that but if a bunch of black thugs were walking down one path, then a bunch of asian thugs the other path, I wonder which path you'd take.
The blacks have guns, but the Asians have guns AND know karate. I'll take my chances with the blacks. Especially if I have my dog with me, because then they just run away.
obviously you duck off the path into the woods. this is regardless of race; if teams of thugs are coming at you from both directions you get the fuck out of their path.
I would be scared of both, for cultural reasons, not racial ones. I would pick the asian path, because their thugs have more disciplined cultures. If you are not disrespectful or anything, I don't think you'd be as likely to have problems. American black thug culture might get me killed for being white. So, I'd pick the asian path. Even knowing that say, the japanese are very racist (again, I'm accusing the culture of that, not the race), and the japanese mob is very brutal. They might think things about me because of my race, but won't do anything to me, unless I start it, in which case even if I live I'll probably be worse off than if I end up shaking hands wrong with the black american gangsters. Where I live, there's a bunch of african black guys. There's a bunch of wannabe black thugs from america, with some white (and at least one asian) members. I feel menaced by, and am afraid of one group, and it's not the africans from africa. And maybe my perceptions are wrong, but those are the perceptions I have accrued living where I do, coming into contact with the cultures that I do. And to not take culture into account, you have to be fucking stupid, and in the "thug path" context, have a death wish, to boot. Like it or not, you CAN tell a lot about people by profiling them. I've never been sucker-punched by someone twice my size for half an ounce of shitty pot, after being set up by someone who I thought was my friend, in the context of asian thugs. But not caring about race or culture and considering people to be primarially decent, has gotten me in that situation, with two black american thugs. Not because they're black, but because they belong to a culture that's not worth shit. Regional culture, not race.
i don't like racing at all, i prefer to walk at an unhurried pace. i have one prejudice and that is against aggressiveness, and bigotry, which is a form of aggressiveness. just like greed and corruption also are. ethnicity, economics, ideology, belief, age, gender, intelligence, sexual preference, 'skin color' (i prefur green fur to human skin anyway) none of those have anything to do with it. rather fond of the expression "i'm not prejudiced, i hate everybody". not that i do. i only hate aggressiveness, regardless of the source, even my own, because that is the one thing that screws up everything. it is the only thing that is wrong with this world. it is what can make any place a hell, just like its opposite, universally mutual consideration, can, in place of it, make any place a heaven, and thus, is the one standard of morality, regardless of all else.
Well where I live, there's a rather aggressive thug culture. Because they're fake thugs. At home they're middle class, this is a college town, so when nobody knows them they're out to get whitey and show what real G's they are.
Okay, I have to admit it ... I hate the Chinese, citizens and government for many reasons, starting from the lack of personal hygiene to the psychopath paranoid Chinese government.
I've had my ass beaten, robbed, and thought I was going to die that day by every ethnic gang you can list. I was racist at one point just because of my youth. Not anymore, although I did move to a predominantly upper middle class white area so I'm not unknowingly on anyone's turf.
I would wager a good amount of money that if I were to line up 5 different Asian cultures you would not be able to point out the Chinese man.
