The average family will do what it's already doing. Which is adjusting how they travel. This is a good thing. Having more Jobs come back to the US will be a good thing. And the focus on alternative energy which this will cost will be a good thing. I know it sucks. It sucks a lot for people still dependent on cars for travel. I bought a Roketa a few months ago because I saw all this coming. But ultimately, the pain everyones feeling right now, isn't worth the positive benefits that'll come out of this in several years. I know that probably makes you feel mad because the price of gas hurts. But it's not any less true.
Now that's logic I can live with. Saying taking an immediate hit to see the light 10-20 years from now..... Bogus.
We can make those too. We do make them. From graphite actually. Next time you look at a pencil, think about how you can compress that into diamonds. What they do is in a chamber, they generate immense amounts of heat and pressure, they put a lot of graphite around a very small chunk of diamond. The heat and pressure will make the graphite break into elemental carbon. The elemental carbon will actually copy the molecular structure of what sorrounds it. (the Diamond.) It's pretty awesome.
I'm very very happy. I just cannot find myself happier knowing how your juice $$ is rising, NO MORE FREAKING AROUND dear Americans. Maybe it is time to build walking paths now? Whities won't be walking to the work on the grass like niggers and Hindu. Sorry that a joke only, don't take it serious. It is just funny to me how you need to struggle with lowing down emissions of gases and such staff. I saw you pubs in Chicago, gaming locals and so on... After 15 minutes sitting in restaurant TV screen per person I started to have something wrong with my eyes. First time in my life I had such effect, I saw in the corner of my left eye blinking colours. I lost my vision and half of left eye become blind. I had to go toilet because I felt disoriented with that electrostatic fields or electromagnetic field and blinking screens. ...and few years and you'll have serious problem with radioactive missiles disintegrating in the military stocks.
It's bogus because it hurts peoples incomes? That's why I do suggest we drill more. To help ease the pain of this transition. But this transition is happening. Even if it does seem 'gnarly'.
Sure lode I don't need to know, I'm just blogging. It is not necessary. It is about a typing. Typing is fun. Mu family, from grandgrandpa was never poor, rather rich, put noone never had its own car. Cars suck.
I've got an ok trip to work and decent mileage. I drive to work and grocery. I know a lot of people, even without kids, who will take a large hit. I'm sure there'll be thousands just like my friends. They're the 50's family on the outside but inside they're close to a wreck. This will knock everybody like them clean off their feet. They did exactly what they were taught to do, just like everybody else, by the masses and the schools. Go to school, study hard, make good money, buy a house, have a family. Now this? This is a blunder. The government exercises the right to limit the number of deer a person can shoot in a season, but not the most depended on "limited resource"? What about the oil sands hidden away in Canada, which are stated to have a gigantic long term yield? Why is it shit can float in space, and previously enormous computer components are damn near microscopic, but hybrid cars are $40k? Why is there a federal mandate on television services becoming more efficient but not cars? I'm going with funkyfresh on this one.
maybe we should all find other means of getting from point a to point b... don't just bitch, do something about it.... i have my ass out waving signs, talking to anyone who would listen, literally fighting cops with the constitution when I wanna fight for something I feel is important... seriously people gotta tell the government that they mean business the only thing is what happens if gas prices lower, what happens if the prices of everything go up like they naturally do and the prices of gas stay the same??????? will you then protest the milk prices, the cereal prices. I learned to roll with the times and adjust when necessary. Minimum wage goes up, prices go up, we spend money on a war we cant afford and prices go up, we print money we cant back and prices go up, the world hates us and prices go up... inflation sucks but it is a part of life, I remember when I could fill my tank up on $10 but the US dollar was worth much more then, it is funny how the worth of the dollar went up for so long and now that shit is crashing all to hell... Federal reserve is bullshit...... partly to blame, as much to blame as our government in the US... yep just keep having your stupid federal reserve bank print money without the actual gold to back it, that makes sence, the dollar is merely monopoly money now!
My conception is like this: find yourself work 10 minutes from your house or ... a house 10 minutes from your work and do not go around like in crazy amok but... be easy and go into the car 2x a year when going on vacation. Find youself a good hobby like garden for example....
You think Wal-mart will sit back and take the hit on their gigantic ass wharehouse on wheels trips all across the US dozens of times daily? Think any of your potential grocery and general item stores will?
I do want to add that this transition could've taken place years ago without $6 gas. This is a false pandemic and it's bullshit.
Obviously. That's part of effecting income. It increases the cost of groceries. It already has. Bought milk lately? And it is exactly what will begin serious intrest in investment in alternative energy. It is much better than the sudden price spikes that could have happened if we had a national oil system like Mexico's with controlled prices and unable to see the serious effect of a price spike that could happen with us unprepared for the shift in out energy architecture that has to happen. It's something that has to happen, and it's better that it happens sooner than later.
That is one of the most retarded things I have ever read. Maybe that works in your part of the world, but not here. Besides I would end up going to prison for murder if I had to live closer to the city. Not only that, most people can't afford it. 2 times a year? WTF?
