Understandable. Different tokes for different folks, huh? Tell me you at least dig 'Pac. Keep in mind this is a deal breaker...

Hahah i can tell you TNS likes pac. 2pac is my favorite of all time, my idol, my inspiration. Countless dark lonely fucked up nights where all i had was pac, he kept me going. Its hard to explain, but you can actually FEEL his lyrics. Many claim he wasnt a great lyricist, maybe true. But to me, nobody will ever and never will come close. EDIT: Uhp, just notice ur post TNS.
Featuring Chris Bridges? Word of Mouth is the only Luda album that gets any recognition on my end. I fucking love Tupac and hate hearing him on current tracks, or hearing current rappers throwing 8 on his gold. I could quote 'Pac for days.

Who claims he wasn't a great lyricist? Outside of some people who may think some of his lyrics may have been offensive, I think pretty much everyone thought we was a great lyricist. I've heard more say that he wasn't a good rapper, in terms of his delivery and flow.
must be this weed break, aint got all that smoke up in my head cloudin it up makin my mind all foggy and shit..
Lol? Many people claim he wasn't a great lyricist or rapper. Off the top of my head I can think of at least 10 better lyricists and rappers. But I can't think of one better writer in rap/hip-hop. Or one who has more emotion in their music, or the power to influence a whole group of people. A god among men.
90% of my friends think he is overrated. Many people on youtube claim he wasnt half the lyricist as Nas, Biggie, etc. He does rhyme the same words sometimes, but to me it doesnt matter because everytime u hear "hennessey" ryhmed with "enemies" etc.. you feel it in a differant way everytime. Ya dig? EDIT: In no way i am saying he wasnt one of the best lyricists of all time. Its sad how much of a fan i am of pac, like he is legit my idol. When I die, I wanna see my brother, grandmother, and then 2pac to thank him for all he has done in my life.
Try and relate it to the masses, not personal experience. You may see some things you have not seen before. google dot cum the rampart scandal, if you have not done so.
I'm not a big Luda fan either, but that Hail Mary remix is fuckin amazing. Dude, that's always been one of my favorite Pac songs too, and is actually the very first Pac song I ever remember hearing, but it would be impossible to choose ONE favorite. lol
I don't know what to say other than you're 18. you were at most 5 when he died. From what I remember whenever 2pac was on MTV or they talked about his music they talked about his lyrics. They always mentioned how he had socially conscious lyrics, and talked about interesting issues like pregnant teenage women and various ghetto struggles in a unique way. He's always been known for his lyrics. I'm not arguing that he is the best or not i'm just saying that's always what i heard when he was alive and just after he died. Maybe these days his lyrical skills are being questioned.
This post is true, from beginning to end. He wasn't the best lyricist, but was definitely the best writer and he had more substance in two bars than most rappers have on an entire album.
