I could see how a gig like that would take some of the fun out of it. But on the other hand he could be working as a courier or something

    ya the neodude one.

Im the same way with metal, once in a blue moon ill venture into D tuning and fuck around, but its too boring. Im trying to make a spanish heavy sounding song, well heavy parts.

Yea I know Pavel, I used to listen to it with an obsession as a kid. But I stopped feeling anything from the heavier sounds probably 5 years ago and moved more into the realms of lighter melodies. Except for some hip hop with heavy bass, and like I said the noise rock bands, I pretty much dont get into it anymore.
I know there are bands out there with amazing talent especially on guitar in the metal genre, but it's just not my deal, at all :&
Like I said dont mean to offend anyone, it's just not my deal. Im not ignorant to it, just moved on

You really should check out Swans if you like noise-rock.... and Prurient (on full volume)

I'm willing to bet a million, billion, gazillion dollars that you didn't listen to quality metal as a youngin'.

Here are some bands for you, just incase you ever feel angry and drunk enough:

Boris, Pentagram, Emperor, The Melvins, Bongzilla, Disfear, Earth, Earthcrisis, Enslaved, Isis, Khylst, Type O Negative, Meshuggah, His Hero Is Gone, Year of No Light, Disrhythmia, Sepultura, Sleep, Crowbar, The Jesus Lizard, Fear, Bad Brains, Black Flag, Tragedy, Red Sparowes, Burning Witch, Neurosis, Russian Circles, Growing, Acid King, The Obsessed, Harvey Milk, Ulver, Mayhem, Death, Coffins, Graves at Sea, Sunn O))), Spirit Caravan, Black Boned Angel, Bathtub Shitter.

This should cover every single sub-genre of metal in existence.

    Nahh... still close enough.

Fear is heavy enough to be considered Metal, even though to Crust.
"Crust" is a sub-genre of metal.

Bad Brains have some metal sounding songs... (as well as some awesome reggae). "F.V.K. on Rock For Light, per example.

I might have exagerrated with The Jesus Lizard, but they are also heavier.

Black Flag is pure crust, especially on "Damaged".

those bands are all punk/early hardcore, and crust mostly came out of hardcore Punk with some thrash metal

if you want to fight me about it, we can meet in Iceland and settle this by getting in some hot springs
