i love how they mock american rednecks and intolerance, and during all those riots in the muslim housing areas, french people started wearing "france, love it or leave it" shirts. that was HUGELY amusing for me.
the French I've met have been generally very intolerant. I have examples but I don't want to keep bringing up Penny.
why do they make fun of americans with bad french accents but don't even try to sound english or american when they speak our language? pfft.
Hey, hey...Its not easy.....My English is pretty good and I do try to speak without an accent....but I just cant
do you mock americans when their accents are bad, trying to speak your language? because i've gotten that several times from french people back when i gave a shit and tried. and yet, their american accents were so bad i'd have to REALLY pay attention to understand what they were saying. pfft. lamers.
because they actually think they sound normal. which they don't. I never even try to use the accent when I speak French. sometimes it sounds pretty but generally not.
I never met an American who's trying to speak Croatian/Bosnian... Actually, I dont think I ever even met an American.
let's see, what else about the french...oh yeah! how many of those overpriced shoes that they buy ended up covered in dog shit, i wonder?
perhaps you have, i've met many americans of the croatian community. there's a bit of an enclave in SoCal. their american children are, naturally, at LEAST bilingual.
maybe this is getting out of hand. I like more than I dislike about France I guess, even though their popular music is usually really bad. even worse than the stuff coming out of England. so fuck the New Musical Express.
i'd imagine americans trying to speak croatian are very few and far between, and mostly at universities either at home or in your neck of the woods. most americans who want to speak foreign languages go for things like spanish, french, italian, german, japanese, arabic, and latin.... i have never heard of an american who speaks croatian either, not that there aren't any.
Hmm.But mix some British with some Russian , and u've got the *perfect* creation. Some people are soooo jealous they never invented a language that people bother to learn.Anyway , the hatin's good-keep it comin : ) -Bearing in mind its coming from a place where George Bxsh can get to be president. And a place that used to be part of Turkey; ) As for the French , seeing as America hates them so much , it almost makes me warm to them. But not quite.Garlic breathed b.....
Do they stick together ? I mean Croatians in America...Immigrants usually do. And yeah, I now remember that I did actually meet an American. At Uni. Anthony is his name....But we always talked in English. AND he understood EVERYTHING I said
