I'll have to check out better galleries. I am going to start doing some promoting before we move, when this will turn into my full-time job. I've been told about flickr and twitter. I understand the concept of flickr, but twitter just sounds bizarre to me.

I agree with you. I mean, I dont make things for people because I dont know how to make anything , but I think it was just a question, nothing to take offense on or take so seriously, if it's something you're willing to do, then great, if it's not, then great, nothing has been lost for asking.

 

I don't know if it's recessive? my little sister had an afro as a kid though. and it was literally ADORABLE. I'm pretty sure when my dad lets his hair get long, it has the same way about it.

You should make headbands or hair scarves haha, it's not a custom order , but an idea. Sometimes it's hard to find cool ones. Although I've never checked on Etsy.

 

I responded to her in a nice way. Unfortunatley, I have to run my Etsy site like a buisness. There are all kinds of taxes I have to pay on what I sell, in addtion to Etsy and Paypal fees. I just couldn't afford it.
I buy a lot of fabric because I always need backstock and buy my minky, chenille and terry in bulk. I spend a lot of money keeping the wheels turning, even with only 30 items listed.
I make a lot of stuff for family and friends, but just don't want to make stuff for strangers, unless it's profitable.

I have no organization. I donated sopme fabric to a non-profit hospice, which featured me in a blog and ever since then, I haven't been able to keep up. I don't know if it's luck or karma or what man, but I know I need a better system and more items before it runs out.

Wooo Marimekko Marimekko is awesome, I think most of our bedsheets and towels are from there. Oh yeah, and pretty much all of my socks. And lots of dishes from Marimekko-Iittala. Hahah. It's such a tradition in Finland, everyone gets Marimekko stuff for Christmas and on birthdays.
