You shouldnt be afraid to try new things. Im sure that everything you now make and people buy from you, it's all because one day you decided to try it. And head scarves seem simple, but I dont know. I would love to be your tester and I would probably end up buying tons of them

The exchange student that stayed in my house was the one to send me the duvet and pillow cover. Another exchange student gave me a Marimekko bag, it's orange and yellow. I also have a couple of of theirs socks. I love love love them.

 

What I meant to say before I had an insane fabric orgasm, is that I love finnish style and have finnish dessert plates.

Hey, if I made my prom dress with very little help from my fashion-impaired home ec teacher (and all I've made besides that are pillows and stuffed dolls), I'm sure you can pull off something cute for a concert.

 

That is so awesome. How long did it take you to make it? Do you have any pics?

 

Well, it was a class project and it took me a few months to finish it because I was only able to work on it during class and after school since I didn't have a sewing machine or serger at home, and I was involved in one act play and speech, so I pretty much only had time to work on it in class. I think I finished it up about a week before the play I was involved in went to regionals, and prom was the day we got back from regionals. My teacher hemmed it for me since there were so many time constraints, but I did pretty much everything else. There are a few flaws to it, but nothing that was right out apparent.
