I get tired of pointing out that Fundamentalist Evangelical Christianity isn't the only kind. And it is, I think, un-Christian in stressing doctrines that go against the teachings and example of Jesus--i.e., peace, social justice, and unconditional love of neighbor. The irrstional notion that all good Christians must support the state of Israel in everything it does is particularly strong among the evangelicals who embrace "dispensationalism"-- preached by the nineteenth century preacher, J.N. Darby. Some fundies believe that the Jews must control Palestine and rebuild the Temple so that Christ can come again, after which they must convert to Christianity or else! Catholics, Orthodox, and Mainline Protestants don't teach this. Neither do all evangelical fundamentalists.

Not my inttention to disrepect any religions....extremisme and politics behind it are the issue.Most people on this planet still believe in something and most reglions basics are good.

Was more a rant about "labels"...........left/right ect(woke or not)
