Why do "expert ghost hunters" use EMF detectors to prove there is an entity present when those things are much more likely to register a reading due to piping or something mundane than it is to prove the existence of a misplaced spirit which was never proven to be electromagnetic in the first place.

interesting. The EMF thing seems kinda pseudosciencey to me, but i'm no expert, nor am i completely close minded, just enough to keep my brain from leaking out. However when i was around 18 years old 4 friends and i used to sneak onto the property of an old civil war hospital (that has been designated as the most haunted place) in my state pretty regularly, and make videos of what we might not see. I didn't encounter any humanlike apparitions but on one occasion a friend and i were walking through the cemetary there and i was blindsided by what appeared to be a black beach ball moving at a speed of at most 15 mph from my peripheral. i hit the ground as my friend did the same. Not wanting to sway his account of what had just happened i asked why he ducked and he described seeing the same thing. A few weeks later i was listening to the Art Bell show and he had a guest who was a demonologist who described exactly what i saw. He said it was called an M.I.S. (Malevolent Inhuman Spirit) and it was a form of demon as well as one of the most dangerous entities in the spirit world. He also said they were known to stalk, verbally torment, and even physically attack their human victims with the strength to pick up a person and throw them 10 feet against a wall. I've heard they will say your name while you are trying to sleep. this has happened to me on about maybe 10 occasions over the past few years, but when it happens the voice is clear as day. but it will happen when i am completely alone, or if i'm with someone they don't hear it. On the rare occasion i do hear the voice it never says anything other than my name like "Go kill your high school principal" or any crazy shit. I haven't been diagnosed with anything other than clinical depression and ADD, but i know i am around the age when schizophrenia can begin to present itself. Am I going crazy, should I be worried. I'm not a religious person, and if i were a reader of this i would be inclined to play Dana Scully and explain it away using occam's razor : Were they intoxicated? No we were both about a year sober. In fact AA is where i met these guys. That being the case i would assume the person is experiencing early stages of schizophrenia. What do u make of all this, Ghost Lyric?

I havent seen a ghost...but once i saw myself...at the other end of the room to where i was...in kind of spirit form (yeah, not in the mirror!) Like floaty, and not physical. Her body wasnt solid, it was airy. But it was definitely a version of me. She raced towards me (like flew i guess) and entered my body and it made me scream without meaning to

Do you know what that was? Hallucination? I wasnt on drugs or ill or anything. It just happened. Oh, and i felt it enter too. It was tingly and sudden and i guess that why i screamed
