i have stepped on one and slid but not to the point that i lost my balance.

only when the meal is being served to more than just hubby (i.e. when family or friends are over - and the way *I* consider "correct" is how mom always did it - fork to left of plate, knife to the right of plate and spoon to the right of knife)

depends on my mood, but usually i will at least put on some music.

I like silence - but can do noise in the background...depends if I am sleeping or not... I live in in an area silence is impossible maybe that is why I like it?
