Well, nothing against you or any other Californians, Mary, but I was born in Sitka, Alaska and that's what alot of Californians do up there. They get money from some gigantic house and decide to buy up a small town and start trying to buy and nudge their way into political office. Just because you don't hear about any of it down there doesn't mean it's never happened. Though it really doesn't matter too much to me anymore, I consider myself a border native to Virginia and North Carolina, since I was raised here for most of my life.

It's just that when you start ripping the frontier (eg: Drilling for oil in The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge... what the hell were they smoking) out of the last frontier... you're going to have a problem. But I swear, if I ever found out who let that happen...

Like I said, even an incident like Tim Treadwell and his bears are enough to prove that he really didn't know what he was doing there... but I still have alot of respect for the man and his cause. At least he kicked heroin and got out of Malibu by dubbing himself a biologist. I can't blame him or anyone else that does it.

 

Yeah, It happens in Idaho too. Thats why I get all "uhhh.. thats not nice" cause I'm Californian and have never tried to do crap to this state but leave it.
and yet, people egg cars with CA license plates and such. its lame.
