If used in moderation, aka 1-2 joints a week, then no, not at all, you will have nothing to worry about whatsoever. however I don't think it's a good idea to smoke everyday, after a while it can't be too good.

yeah everyone that is a daily smoker should take at least a 2-3 week break at least once in their life. i had to quit for a while when i was in hospital, and when i got out i realized how pointless daily smoking was. in the month of october alone i spent about $800 on dope and i hardly got anything out of it except for being stoned every day all day. since i took that break, i've cut back to about 3-4 times a week, and that's mostly just on the weekend.

as for sports, i'm in competive rowing and right now i attend winter training twice a week and it's just on the rowing machine for an hour, but it's really tiring. in the summer time i row every day in the morning and in the evening, and i found that i had to really cut back on smoking for that. if i smoked between practices i'd be to burnt out for the evening one, and if i smoked after rowing i had trouble waking up for the morning practice. saturday and sunday were the days i got off, so i usually just smoked during saturday night or something.
