He's expanding his power and imposing his view on the Turks as a whole. Lots of judges are put out of function (supposedly for being Gulen marionets).

His old pal Gulen and his supporters are accused with certainty, this while there is no proof for it (so far at least). Without going into conspiracy theories it is really not that crazy to think Erdie staged this weak coup to speed up his process to reform the presidential role and get as powerful as Putin or Obama (not a secret that this is his dream).

So monday evening I was talking with the syrian neighbour of my friend about this and he said 'I for one love Erdogan'... Sigh. But the only reason for it seems that he as a leader of a neighbouring country of Syria is doing the most effort helping syrian refugees. 2 other syrians that were there as well agreed with me that Erdie is a turd for his hunger for authority and oppression of free speech and opposition.
