we should raise the legal age to 25.

yo i got somthing for you.. how about this.. my brother he is now 25 years old.. hes got a masters degree in physics, and is going for a PhD now.. hes fucking smart as fuck, and hes not in jail hes actually well respected... and hes been smookign since he was 18, he does it responsibl, just like adultys drink alchoal..

 

and i am high right now.. which is why i cant spell well.. but im not out driving and running over people so relax im safe in my room.. trying to enjoy my high

Yup, but they're not tempered by sound judgment or maturity, which is why someone else has to be responsible for you til that's the case.

Okay, let me take this to the remedial level.

1) Marijuana is against the law. It can get YOU into trouble and your parents into trouble. This is why they grounded you and took away your Playstation. Get over it.

2) In some areas, it can mean your parents lose the house they work two jobs to keep over your head, or the car they work long hours to afford.

3) Either way, it's their house, and they're responsible for you. In fact, if a judge sees your stoner ass coming into his court he might decide to lay criminal charges against your parents for not doing something about your dope problem.

4) You show a distinct lack of critical thinking, you're barely literate, and yet you somehow expect me and your parents to treat you like an adult?

I know lots of people with Ph.D's, half of em can't even tie their own shoelaces.

He's one arrest away from that, and you can check out the "I never thought it could happen to me..." posts here for confirmation that it does in fact occur.

And if he's a physicist he's probably gonna want to get some kind of physics related job. An arrest could prevent him from finding work in research labs, defence, etc. which to my mind is a sure sign of not thinking shit through, which strangely enough is symptomatic of being a pothead.

hey buddy... if it was illegal in this country to speak? and ur said said somthing.. would u yell at him? i mean the law could mean ud loose ur house if ur child speaks?? laws dont mean shit.. pff i hope the united states can relaize that.. or maybe ill have to move to europe and grow my own garden

exactly why u schouldnt yell at a kid wow u finally understand the point of this thread.. maybe if we sat down and taked peacefully and maturelly.. id agree.. teh parents from 60'70's may have had the best fuckign music around but, i guess some... oh nevermind..

First off, I don't drink, I can't stand alcohol, worst drug ever. Second of all, the overall principle here is that he's living under someone else's roof. Is this not clear enough to both of you?

Would you smoke around a stoner friend of yours on probation who could get piss tested and thrown back into jail at any time? No you wouldn't. Why would you afford your parents any less respect?

yo smoking marijuana has made me sucha peaceful person.. marijuana is 1 of the best things that has happened in my life.. man i wish i was a teen in the 60's .. that was the best geneartion man.. beatles.. omg i love the beatles!!!aw shit jimi hendrix is on the commercial!!! woot woot!! me and my stoner buddys are like the nicest people in the school.. man serisiouly we dont care what u look like or w/e we jsut friends cause of eprsonalitys and stuff. weed has showed me that, and has lead me to peace and love.

Well, I also know people who've smoked their way into not caring about anything and failing out of school, ending up simply oblivionated from one day to the next. I also know people who can't vacation anywhere cause the countries they'd go to won't let em in with a dope conviction, yeah, even "one little joint". I know someone who lost a very expensive car cause his moron son left his "rollies" in the car and he went across the border in it.
