i don't have a real wok either but i have a stupid electric stove. just don't use metal utensils on your nonstick stuff and it should be fine...
http://www.thaifoodandtravel.com/features/wokcare.html at least i dont think it would work with nonstick.
frankly i think eating sand would be better for your health... think of all those minerals.... ramen is delicious though, there is a picture in zen's signature.
Oh wow that's MAD cheap! I thought I was looking into 30, 40 dollars. I have no idea how much these kind of things costs. I'll put the wok in the list of things I want for the baby and say to John that we need it, so we can beat it with it when she/he is bad. He'll love the idea haha
I bought some of those Pillsbury cinnamon rolls today. Im telling you, this baby is making me all kinds of crazy. Never before in my life have I bought one of those things. I do love cinnamon rolls. This is all I have in my mind now, but Jack and John are sleeping. I dont want to make them just for me, but probably will end up doing so.
yum! i should get pregnant and see what kind of crazy shit i buy.... i will probably just eat a lot of potatoes, i think that's what my mom did. though i will admit, pillsbury cinnamon rolls sound delish. i love toaster strudel
Gas stoves are the common thing in DR and the electric stoves are the ones seen as a luxury haha How weird the world is? But we had a gas stove at home. It doesnt make sense in a place like Dominican Republic to depend on electricity to cook, there's a black out everyday, even if you have a generator or something, like our building did. It's still silly, because there were times that there was something wrong with it and you have to wait until the people come to fix it, etc
dude, those things dont make the best cinnamon rolls in the world, but they're still fucking good. but what you NEED to try...is the orange rolls! they're made by pillsbury, too, and they're almost identical, but they're flavored with orange instead so fucking good! especially right out of the oven when they're still all warm and soft all the way through... oh man....sounds amazing:cheers2:
Im not a fan of the toaster strudel, I've only tried their apple cinnamon one, but I love apple cinnamon everything. The pb&j were another pregnant thing, I never ate peanut butter before. Now I love it. I got a blueberry spread today. Maybe that's what I'll end up eating instead of making the cinnamon rolls, because if I do I'll end up eating too many of them. Also now, I make all my grilled cheeses with cheddar and ketchup. Never did that before. I love potatoes all the time
Im scared! I never liked pastries and desserts made with orange. I would try, but I wouldnt buy them. I know their cinnamon rolls are damn good, it's just that I never buy those kind of things to have at home. They're dangerous I discovered the other day that pillsbury crescent rolls are vegan!
I made pasta today too! I did bowtie pasta with alfredo sauce, pesto, olive oil, spinach, mushrooms, artichokes, parmesan and red pepper flakes. Served it with oven baked chicken breasts. I made some breasts stuffed with the mixed veggies and cheese for later consumption.
i love grilled cheese with tomato, chipotle, and lettuce. you gotta try it! i'm not a fan of peanut butter really, but i love preserves on my toast... especially raspberry or boysenberry. and i really do love potatoes any meal any day, just gotta do all the prep work... boooring. i like cherry toaster strudel.
