R.I.P. Cosmic Traveler! Be Here Now changed my life as it did many others. Opened our minds to many possibilities beyond our social programming. Most people I knew back then (the 70s) had a copy. It was a big contribution to the Hippie Movement, bringing Eastern perspective (including Hinduism, Buddhism and Taoism) and values into our lives. Yes, but after he left Harvard and before Maui there are many tales he shared with us about self-discovery, the psychedelic experience, his trips to India. He was a great storyteller with an excellent sense of humor. I have partially transcribed (with his permission), one of his lectures from the 60s (I never got around to finishing it). I think I have it digitized now, so I could make it available to all at some point. I think hearing his words is far more entertaining than just reading them, but that's great too!

I never get tired of reading quotes from Ram Dass. Here's another one of my favorites... "It is important to expect nothing, to take every experience, including the negative ones, as merely steps on the path, and to proceed."
