The city of Babylon goes back to the 18th century BC. I did not know that reggae music went back that far.
I seem to learn something new on HF every day. :openmouth::openmouth::openmouth:

babylon has always been the "enemy" to the prophets and the holy city.
Remember babylon destroyed the temple, enslaved and deported the Children of Israel(jacob=israel).
So, lovers of reggae, call the "evil system" or the "evil 5% people" "babylon" up to this day. Which I find very funny hahahah. That does not mean that they support todays state of israel. In fact the opposite is true: they condemn the ilegal creation of it, the so called "zionists" and "jews". They say that todays "jews" have nothing to do with judaism. I agree with them.

    babylon must fall

    'babylon' is always 'falling'.

when humans have become extinct and the earth has been inherited by pointy ears and fuzzy tails, then it will have 'fallen' for good.

paradise is when logic, consideration and honesty work in harmony, hell is when logic is hated.
devils, daemons, angels, gods, and god like beings, are completely innocent of either.
ideologies and beliefs, are perhaps somewhat less so.

he is showing in this video that he rather sells fruits than work for the system (babylon)
there are many ways to overcome this sysstem (babylon) , my brothers dont think you have no choice and must support it, there are many ways to avoid babylon.

dont support evil (babylon) industries such as
    - military industrial
    - pharmaceutical

dont send your children to school, dont vaccinate them

My honest answer is; I would like to keep a little toe dabbled in each. The best of both Worlds. I also rely on the pharmaceutical industry for essential medications. The concept of Babylon is just for entertainment. There is a real World you know.

Plenty of fruit merchants are an intrinsical part of 'Babylon'. Reality is not that simple. Is one a better man for sitting by the side of the road selling oranges to people in traffic and avoiding being part of the economic system? What about his hypothetical hard working neighbour who by investing in his fruit farm can make a switch to organic. Is he less good for being part of Babylon? :p Is he by default further away from Jah? ;)

The painting is by Pieter Breughel and is one of the most wellknown depictions of the tower of Babel. To be sure: its a medieval artistic depiction of the biblical city. Not a historical accurate one ;)

not at all! "his hard working neighbour who by investing switches to organic" does not go babylon at all! maybe you missunderstood what babylon is my friend. Babylon does not mean staying poor , not working, living off grid and running around with 1 pair of jeans. Babylon simply means not supporting the EVIL. The shit-stem. You can be a wealthy succesfull businessman and still be outside of babylon.

i guessed it was biblical, love it, downloaded it on my 2 cell phones + currently used as screensaver
