^.. A few hrs, maybe less., you should see prints.. btw , the slightly under a 1/8 I found today are not very active? I did have some wigwams in my vision but that could be from anything..
false i also do not think those are subbalteatus, though. they have much different caps either way, photographs are NOT sufficient for identification. i wouldn't eat them. just grow your own cubes indoors. its cheap and easy.
I agree. I think they are the Foenesecii family. Not poisonous and not active either. And BTW...spore prints can take hours to develop. It's best if you leave them overnight, that way enough spores fall to get a good print and definite color ID.
Uhh.... This seems like a loosing battle. I can't keep up with all the threads and all the weird ass rumors... Black spore-print = Active??? Do you also believe that acid can only be tested through the spine? The field of mycology is massive. You have to read books and practice identifying mushrooms for a while before you can look for edible/hallucinogenic mushrooms. I am going to stop identifying mushrooms though pictures because it is quite difficult. Just buy a book and learn, its worth it! There are very few deadly mushrooms. Most LBMs (little brown mushrooms) will merely give you gas. those are not psyilocybe mushrooms. If it does not bruise blueish purple then it is very likely its not active. The mushrooms above me could def look like the opers mushrooms. Caps turn upwards when they mature. All of these mushrooms on this whole forum have brown gills and bruise brown. I have yet to see someone find a real one... READ!
BTW not all of them bruise blue, but if it bruises brown then its not good. Notice blueing of touched sections. Cubensis are the most common one to find, which turns blueish purple (Must have gills and they must be dark purple/black gills/spores). Just google psyilocybe regions and see if they grow where you are at, and which ones. Then narrow them down to color, gills, shape, size, bruising, etc. THAT is the easiest way to make sure you have the right ones.
these perfectly grown mushroom pictures are taken by a professional photographer, whose been searching all over grassy areas to take this pic. swim finds these everywhere, and they never once looked anything like the pictures u posted. don't know wat else to say.
