Yep. I was going to get a job working there just so I could sea Primal Scream play Screamadelica. Glad I didn't now, it would have been Squelchadelica the whole weekend. Too much paperwork and too many rules, like you have to wear black trouser and black shoes. LIke why? Who fucking cares what colour your trousers are?
really? to work there? PFFFT! wheres the love man! seeing PS playing screamadelica would indeed be awesome though!
Man, you're missing out. I worked T for a couple of years. Not as staff taken on for the gig but as part of a regular job. See everyone for free, free food, drive about on a wee 4 wheel motorbike thing! Only drawback - the long hours.
Yeah probably But it's just the paperwork down the job centre, and the council tax and all that nonsense that mainly put me off. If I work less than 16 hours per week though I don't have to sign off, and it's slightly less of a hassle. So I was thinking about turning up and working until I had done 15 hours and then doing a magic disappearing act from saturday evening through sunday and just enjoying the festival for free Maybe next year... Maybe next year the weather will be better as well.
here's an amazing pic on yahoo at the moment from Landscape Photographer Of The Year 2010 http://uk.news.yahoo.com/photos/bre...hotos-1308756643-slideshow/russell-photo.html
i would not want you to be terrible repressed...not THOSE kinds of joints. his leg and arm joints, and most of his spine. if he had a stash, it was probably safe somewhere...
