Only every time. But then again, I do this in the safety of my home, so I owe nobody any answers. Barefoot is THE choice for squatting. And not getting stinky feet from a sweaty workout. Put it this way: It was good enough for Arnold Schwarzenegger, it's good enough for us. And Arnold if anyone should know what he was doing. That's a pretty good number. I'm assuming this is Fahrenheit? I've done -12,5, the equivalent in Celsius before, but I'm not sure if I wanna push it to full hour for fear of frost bites, because I like having my toes. When it gets that cold, I don't wanna stay out any longer than I have to in any case. How were the conditions for you that time? Was it windy or calm? Deep snow or packed, solid snow? Or ice maybe? Have you ever injured your feet doing this, and does the numbness ever bother you?
Yes Fahrenheit and it just got done snowing 12 inches. And the numbness really doesn’t bug me . I have been walking around and removing snow in every cold temperature for 30 years and now that I’m 53 years old I started being a little bit more caution to every cold cold temperature. I love my toe and I haven’t injured my feet and I always watch where I put my bare feet and if it’s to hot or way to cold I stay inside.
What really bugs my bare feet is the salt that we put down on the roads and sidewalks it dries my heels out and sometimes my heels crack but I put some lotion on them and in a week or two they are healed and I’m good to go .
Today is a great day I got a lot of compliments on the way my jeans and bare feet look . I love the look that jeans give bare feet .
I love putting footprints in the snow and it feels great having my bare feet in the snow even we just got I little snow this morning. And I like to look at my own barefoot prints in the snow
Just got over being sick, blah. The past few days have been below zero here. I was really hating shoes yesterday!
This past Wednesday it snowed a lot where I live we got 16 inches of snow and it was fluffy snow. But I couldn’t go out and remove the snow I just got out of the hospital I had my bladder reconstructed so I’m been laid up for w few weeks . But one of my friends showed up and removed the snow from my walk way and I went out to see how he was doing and yes I went outside barefoot and the snow left great on my bare feet. He said I was crazy for being outside in bare feet but then he said will you’re always barefoot and he can’t understand how I can be out in the snow or in the heat of the summer walking barefoot. Will after he got done he had a couple more houses to do I said thanks and gave him a hundred dollars for doing that for me .
Barefooting on all kinds of surfaces is great, the more unusual, the better--like snow (careful, no traction) and rain and superhot blacktop (careful, period). Having a barefoot friend just makes it awesomer (careful, grammar)!
