Sounds like you're talking about just one culture actually. And even the one that I'm thinking you're talking about did/does value hair on women. Hair has been a protected and revered part of a woman's body in many cultures. Several religions and cultures are all about keeping, respecting and honoring that hair that is naturally there. It is and was a sign of beauty, as a matter of fact. Cancer and hair are not at all similar. It wasn't even very long ago at all that most women kept all the hair on their bodies and only celebrities removed their hair. Depending on your age you can go ask your mom, grandma or great grandma.

I almost never wear any makeup during the day. I don't have have skin care products (apart from soap) or hair care products (apart from shampoo and conditioner and hairspray).
I don't really care about fashion, i don't think i have much of a fashion sense, but i like my jeans and shirts to look good on me.
I do pluck my eyebrows and get rid of body hair.

That being said, i do care a lot about appearance, but i'm more into health and fitness. I am in great shape and my skin is clear and healthy because i don't eat crap. I only wash it with water, and moisturize with pure natural oils like coconut oil or shea butter in the winter.

Oh and i love dyeing my hair because i get bored with only one colour. And i love dramatic eye makeup for going out at night. :D

Well whats ridiculous is allowing lots of dioxins etc into people's bodies. They cause cancers, and they have "gender blurring properties". So its all part of the same topic.

If you look at the ancient Greeks etc, they'll always talk about goddesses having smooth alabaster skin etc. They didn't talk about having "gorgeous furry arms and legs". Thats what I mean re hair. And I don't remember my grandmother looking like a yeti : D

I don't think you get it.

Hair does not grow where it is not meant to be.

Toxins aside. We all have hair the same places for a reason.
