You're getting old. I get the same thing though... when I was 19 I could drink 12 beers and get up for class at 8:30. Now more than 2 or 3 and I feel like shit the next morning.
I don't think it's so much that I am getting old, but the fact that I have so drastically changed my lifestyle and the way I eat over the past nearly two years. I am not saying age doesn't factor in, too, because even before I altered my lifestyle, my ability to tolerate alcohol started to diminish. The fact is, once you get away from consuming certain things, after a while your body no longer tolerates them, because it views them as essentially the poisons they are. I am the same way when I eat sugar, since I have pretty much completely eliminated it from my diet; the exception of course being sugar from fruit. I have really cut back on my alcohol consumption over the past year or two, so when I do drink any more than one or two drinks, it has an adverse effect on the way I feel.
that's part of how i justify my psychedelic drug use. they give me less of a hangover than 3 or 4 beers or a 'meal' from mcdonalds would
Pretty much how I justify my daily marijuana use too. As long as I don't smoke before eating, because then I end up eating way too much and feeling like garbage after.
i don't believe that type of activity is allowed on the forums.:leaving: plus, i haven't eaten a proper dose of mushrooms in three years. though a friend of mine did feed me about a gram two weekends ago. it was a pretty great buzz for only a gram, but not a real trip. he was selling 8ths for 50 bucks! i wouldn't pay that much. miprocin (4-ho-mipt) is just as quality as mushrooms. it's not exactly the same trip though. it's more lighthearted and carefree and less nauseating for me. 4-aco-dmt is another quality, quasi-legal tryptamine that is similar to (but not the same as) mushrooms. for me, that one is a "deeper" more serious kind of trip that for some people can help illuminate their flaws, sometimes in a not-so-gentle manner. ok, back to brewsky:cheers2:
I've always been more of a whisky man myself but my favorite thing to have on a different kind of night comes in a mason jar.
say no to black and tan.. shitty beer made me sick 2days in a row. went back to Sam Adams and feel just fine.
if im judging by your comments recently then it wasnt the beer that made you sick it was how much you drank of it.
I only drank one can.. uke: one cant today uke: opened a sam adams and nothing, just fine.. weird if you ask me..
its only wierd to me because yuengling isnt a rice beer. i have heard many people complain that certain beers make them feel shitty and it is always a rice beer that they are complaining about...i guess i cant say that anymore.
first case of black and tan we got from there, gf said she was sick from it. this was a while ago. Maybe the shit is old..
