i got to new store today, wasnt what I expected .. was ok but damn expensive for location and variety.. some shits my little corner store is only 1/2 the price this location.. but i picked these out for 1.75 a piece.. they's nuts to think Im a pay 4dollars for a samual smith winter welcome.

Last night was an imported Italian blush wine that was a bit too fruity for my taste, but derricious nonetheless.

I drank a lot of beer yesterday evening for the first time in pretty much months. Didn't eat well before, so got pretty hungover. Going to need some greasy fatty food tonight! :drool5: :2thumbsup:

Hertog Jan is decent. As for Dutch beers I prefer Bavaria though.

There are several different varieties of Hertog Jan. Which one did you have?

 

No special variety, the standard pilsener crate of which you get 24 for €10.

 

Got a bottle of brooklyns black ops for christmas.

 

Also got a pizza beer. I dont expect it to be good but my friend owns a pizza shop so i had to get him one. And if i got him one i had to try it myself.

Now I am drinking this 2009 Bourbon County stout (an imperial stout) from Goose Island, which I've had cellaring in the basement at my parents' house for four years. It's a very strong, boozy beer clocking in at 13% ABV, and it seems to have barely mellowed out after all this time.

my mom got me a growler of Pumpking for xmas

i drank nearly the whole thing on xmas eve, and puked before i went to bed.
spent half of xmas day puking up anything i tried to eat or drink. i think i may have gotten food poisoning from an improperly cleaned growler.
or i just got too wasted.

went to the bar on friday night and didn't have a single drink. xmas eve was enough drinking for me for a week or two..
