yeah i was just reading about all their beers. Claymore Scotch ale sounds pretty good, and the tripel called Orabelle. a lot of them sounded really good actually.
I tried Double Take brewery for the first time. Their IPA is very good. Reminds me a lot of Bear Republic Racer 5.
Drinking Stone's Enjoy By 02.14.14 IPA -- an exceptionally good double IPA which gets outstanding reviews (98% on BeerAdvocate): http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/147/84596/ And I'm once again drinking out of by Delirium Tremens tulip glass... mostly because I broke my tumbler and have neglected to replace it.
just finished a deuce deuce of Stone IPA. it was a "bribe" to give the first yeast group presentation at my school, in this rotation of the schedule. she calls it the beer slot. she gave me that and a banana bread beer.
Yeah, but ale is richer in texture and flavor. i was spoiled when I went to Scotland once and had some of their ale.
PR and pork - do you guys see any beer from the Toronto breweries across the border? I'm thinking mostly of Steamwhistle, Amsterdam, and Mill Street.
I'm not drinking at home now.Only when I go out somewhere special, like I'm doing a whole two days of life drawing this weekend and will go to the pub for lunch and maybe have a couple of pints of Doom Bar to loosen me up,but these days sometimes I'm going a week at a time without a drink.
i haven't noticed any. but i wouldn't take that to mean that they aren't here. i'll keep an eye out now that you mentioned it.
I've cut down on my drinking substantially. It seems to have a lot more effect now when I do drink. No point in drinking if it doesn't do anything, not economical either. Used to take 3 forties to get drunk, now I can feel pretty good off one.
