before and after thread

i am so sick of seeing this picture in every freakin thread.

 

here's a before picture (summer of 2001):


then almost 6 years later (spring of 2007). this was right before i cut them off:

and here's a picture of them after they were cut off:


i still have them in a bag in my closet. any ideas on what to do with them?

 

They looked awesome, Melvndoo. I still have my first set bagged up. Ocassionally one of my cats will find one and race round the house with it, I also found one of them on the pavement once a good 500 metres from my house. No idea how it got there. Pointless post really but I'd love to have a set like yours.

as for what to do with them... stuff a pillow, sell them on ebay.... send them to me to use as EXTENSIONS! rofl.

yeah, but they were beginning to smell a little after i'd wash them. hard to describe - it was just "off." i remember a few times where my hair was wet and i was chilling in a room. someone would walk in and go, "what's that smell?" and i just say, "uh.... I don't know...." it's hard to get those congos totally dry.

plus, my neck and shoulder muscles were starting to hurt all the time. they weighed in at about a pound and a half after i cut 'em off. so every time i used to bend over or practically do anything, that's a pound and a half of weight pulling on those muscles. multiply that by years. kinda gets to you after a while.

 

you could bury them!
