No details have yet been released about the identities of the 12 people known to have been killed in Berlin.

A man found dead in the truck has been ruled out by police as the driver at the time of the attack. Police say he was a Polish citizen.

The Polish delivery company that owned the vehicle said it lost touch with the driver at 4pm local time after it left the country for Berlin.

Owner Ariel Zurawki said he feared the vehicle, driven by his cousin, might have been hijacked. He told the Polish news outlet TVN24: “They must have done something to my driver.”

You can still get hit by lightning indoors, although it's less likely.

I once shared a rooftop flat with an Israeli guy in Holland. Israelis seem to be quite relaxed when it comes to lightning storms. I noticed this in India.

Anyway, I was like fuck what if the lightning strikes the roof and goes right through, because the roof is made of wood and fries my ass? He was laughing at me for being scared of lightning. Then, a few days later a giant moth flew in the window and he started freaking out.

Well, I'd rather have a mild phobia about something that can actually harm me...

I think I get what he's hinting at: that people who after an event like this, or merely because the german police haven't caught the culprit yet people are making dramatic claims about the whole of Germany.
