I would have to say...I was in Chicago and I got like 3 steve miller band albums and Iron butterfly's In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida...off of an old hippy buddy of mine for free.
I got the Flashdance ost for 50 cent and a Elvis Presley limited edition picture single (Love me tender and Anyway you want me) for 2,50 €. These are kinda my only vinyl ones, my player broke when I was 12 and never got a new one so I stopped looking for vinyl. I wanna start again, just need a player though. I´m still hoping that my dad would give me his vinyl collection, cause there are alot of good ones from the 70´s!! But till that day comes, I better not touch them...
A buck for Simon and Garfunkels A bridge over troubled water LP Seventy five cents for the original grease 45 Seventy five cents for a bay city rollers 45
i have over 150 records, i think they were all worth what i payed for them. But the best deals i got were the Woodstock sound track (and it's only 3 records not 5 like someone else said) AND the Woodstock 2 soundtrack for 10 bucks (it's hard to find, and it has a bunch of diferent song on it than the first one). Those are like my pride and joy, well that and Cass Elliots greatest hits, it's never been opened. Cass Elliot was with The Mamas And The Papas for those who dont know, and she had a long solo career. And i love all my records, i've got a ton.
i got about 15 Beatles records, all the basics and imports and stuff for $7 at a yard sale... as well as a Janis Joplin one and Aerosmith's Toys In The Attic...........
A couple years back I scored a whole stack of Dead records for 10cents each at goodwill, that was prolly my best deal.Black sabbath masters of reality with the poster still inside for a dimebag was a pretty sweet deal too
best deal: dibs on my aunts lps (she died before i was born.. she toured w/ the dead and went to woodstock and was an overall awesome person) and she had SOOOO many. actual purhcases: flea marketing: got a dead double lp, two dylans and a joan baez for a total of $3!!!! i was very happy. longhair- im jealous, my goodwill NEVER has lps, or any music for that matter. theres 3 or 4 vhs tapes, thats it.
i got a bunch of records for 4/3$ at amoeba music in san francisco. my parents also surrendered their cream records to me.
