i love all music when im high!!! i like hearing new shit for the first time. i enjoy modest mouse, and blind melon, and definitly the beatles!! last night me and some friends went to smoke a joint and my bf hooked his mp3 player up to my cassette player and we all just sat, tore, listening to strawberry fields forever. it was a beautiful moment for all of us i think. i like listening to janis joplin when im in a house, like the other night me and some friends were drinking and smoking joints and ciggs with janis bellowing in the background. i love her!! the live version of ball and chain is wicked! gotta have some heavy metal too especially pantera, megadeath, primus, and let us not forget goold old metallica...anything before ride the lightening of course! music is an essential when smoking with your friends, it helps you remember certain moments in your life i find.
    peace out hippsters!

i like to listen to sublime when high most of all, but i change it up pretty often. I like some bob, toots and the maytals, desmond dekker, specials, etc. aside from reggae, i like radiohead, pink floyd, beatles, grateful dead, rolling stones, and hendrix. then theres some others like atmosphere, jedi mind tricks, citizen cope, dre, nas, tupac, gorillaz, dj shadow, incubus, weezer, slightly stoopid, rjd2, mars volta, i listen to alotta different music when high. lately ive been listening to the easy star all stars radiodread album.

It really depends on the mood of the high, if I have had a hard week, nothing does me good like some grunge. If I'm feeling a thinking kinda high I listen to symbolic music, like Pink Floyd, or Derek Trucks Band. A generic high usually gets me listening to Sublime or something more Raggae. If I'm feeling hardcore some metal, punk. And of course there is the, fuck everything I wanna listen to some fucking cool music high. Which usually is 80s or 90s hiphop and some jambands, maybe a little jazz thrown in. I like listening to different types of music stoned, keeps you grounded and makes it so you don't get too bored of something.

i got some amazing bands to listen to while stoned, or sober, cause i rock that much

Mr. Bungle- headed by legendary producer and musician mike patton, one of the most technical and innovative bands out there, song example. pink cigarette

Cynic- another fantastically innovative band that fuses metal with jazz, song example. how could i

Faith no More- another Patton headed band, yet another triumph, more mainstream than bungle, not as good, but still amazing, song example. easy like sunday morning

Fantomas- once again, Patton headed, an unclassifiable genre with really needs to be heard rather than explained, song example. Investigat of a citizen above suspicion

Peeping Tom- another Patton side project, song example. mojo

Tool- excellent band, beyond descriptin, extremely innovative and technical, inspiring lyrical work, their best get stoned to album so far is in my opinion 10 000 days, song example. the pot

John Frusciante- solo album work, soulful and original, song example. murderers

besides all that stuff, all the greats, led zep, floyd, robert plant, clapton, the beatles, the stones, etc., could go on forever

check all that stuff out, trust

Surprisingly, Marilyn Manson. Driving around in a really expensive car, with an insane system blaring right into your ears. The base literally rattles my mind. I still want to try some harder stuff, but Manson was insane...

I've been enjoying The Beach Boys lately while high, good upbeat music with a great sound.
