I live precisely where I was meant to live here in New Hampshire, a one hour drive up to the white mountain national forest for hiking and backpacking during the summer, a 45 minute drive down to boston for the celtics, red sox, and real city life, and a mere 5 hour drive down to new york city for excessive urban sprawl, manhattan Isl, and dangerous liaisons hotwater
I really like louisville... most definitely a feasible place to move. New Zealand/Australia also are very appealing in theory, but haven't been there to say for sure... Everyone who posts in this thread should revisit it 10 years from now
Austin's likely where I'll end up settling down in a year. Beautiful place. Amazing, some of the worlds friendliest people and best shows, beautiful scenery, great atmosphere. There are a lot of other places I'd like to spend some time in. British Columbia, New Zealand, Thailand, maybe New York.
i'd like to live in or near seattle after college when i retire though i'd like to be out in the sticks, fairly isolated, anyplace that is warm most of the year with enough moisture to grow plenty of trees and everything
I've always wanted to live in the US, ever since I was a little kid. television.. I've since modified that goal to Canada. but that is not where I want to end up. a tropical island relatively sheltered from civilization where I can be me, and live primitively. ideally it'll have surfable waves, a reef for diving and snorkeling and decent fishing, but I'm not too picky.
Maui would be perfect, if I could figure out how to make a living there. I could never live somewhere where it snowed or got really cold. Brrr...
Ooh, Jimmy, I sometimes dream about that place when I can't get to sleep. I've got my little house on that island all designed.
No offence taken. I am moving out of the US. Will hang out in Central America for a few years, then... South America is where it is at. Ocean, beaches, jungle, mountains and cheap real estate.
