LOL! I just posted the Midsomer Murders theme in the "what I'm listening to" thread a couple of days ago! I love music like that, which really conveys a sense of intrigue, and mystery. Here's another theme in the same vein that I absolutely love: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q5VVdPBYLps"]Christopher Gunning - Hercule Poirot (The Belgian Detective) - YouTube The music in Zelda games is just class! This is the ultimate theme from that game to me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wkH2zETKqws"]Legend of Zelda: A link to The Past music - overworld theme - YouTube
It captures that atmosphere really well! Midsomer murders tune is the epitome of eerie to me :2thumbsup: I could also picture it as being an intro for a black metal album (or perhaps even power metal)
Couldn't agree more! It's one of the greatest examples of music that captures that haunting, mysterious atmosphere. If I was in a band, I'd love to use it as an intro or an outro, but there's no way I could afford the copyright fee! The full version of this classic theme sadly isn't on youtube, but still, here's a great early example of that mysterious type of theme! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wo3lTbYFK6A"]Randall & Hopkirk Deceased Theme ( in full ) - YouTube
