I love how personal you take it. I don't care how he is a "good singer", I just don't like his style. Symphony X sucks and are cheesy because I think they suck and are cheesy, you can think whatever you want. You sure act like a little bitch a lot, you know that?

my negative and positive post about music have been towards metal bcuz i know craps load of band from all over the world there for am metal .


why i say you dont follow metal? i seem to know more bands world wide and since i live here in the USA most "metal heads" dont tent to listen to outside bands of the USA like i do....but whats that matter? it just shows my support for band from brasil, argetina , germany, finland and other place like japan.....


am a very well round person for metal out side of the USA and i doubt that from you......

 

btw i most call out shitty music on the Metal thread since am a very big passionate fan of the genre....

 

So I was right, it's the "I'm more metal than you" thing.
I've learned that communication with people who derive a sense of personal identity from external circumstances or fandom and use it to build a superiority complex is almost always a waste of time, so I think I'll just go now.

 

Holy shit man! I didn't notice. That was quite a negative rep.

 

I personally don't really care if a person considers himself to be a (caricature of a) music genre, it's just a pity they can't look at an album or a band beyond their fixed definitions of the (sub)genre. And of course the fact that they consider 'metal' to be one big thing which should be cleansed from stuff they don't find metal (instead of just having fun with the stuff they like).

 

I like every genre as i said it b4......you know this...
