As I've said before, since what you call the "Holy Spirit" disagrees with what was written in the Bible by people who were guided by the Holy Spirit, that would seem to call into question whether what you are guided by is actually the Holy Spirit.

Since Satan is a person and he is the one who mostly tempts you, what does he look like? Do you know where he lives? Do you know his phone number? How does Satan accomplish this feat of tempting you?

I was just wondering if you were aware of what the driving emotional dynamic of father hood is like. The reason I would ask you this in addition is to tell you that Jesus taught in parables full of metaphor and allegory. The statement, I and my father are one, is just such an allegorical metaphor. It is posited in this way so that you can viscerally understand the relationship of the creator to the created. You do not have to be learned in words. Even a child can understand his love for his parent. Wisdom in the mouths of children.

I did answer the question but seeing as I know little more than what you have posted here, when you ask; Who do you say that I am, then the best I can do is offer a guess and so I guessed; I misguided youth but since you have now indicated that you are not particularly a youth, I can state with certainly, if you are telling the truth, that you are a misguided 52 year old.

 

If you don't know what he looks like, since you do not know "his" methods, since powerful spirit creatures do not need phones, but people use them, since you don't know where on earth he is, why do you believe that Satan is a person who is tempting you.

Temptation is simply the temptation to have what is not true be real. There is no "he" to tempt him.

Not everything Jesus said was metaphor and allegory, many times in talking to his disciples he would tell them things straight out.

Well one good reason for caring whether someone is seeking the Kingdom or not, is if they have already found it. If one has already found the Kingdom, he no longer needs to find it and it would be good to ask that one how to find it for yourself.

You know the difference when we compare these phrases to facts on the ground. The facts on the ground are that there are no invisible powerful spirit creatures roaming the world, unless of course bacteria or viruses qualify as powerful spirit creatures, but even they are visible under magnification.

This is because reading is not required, this is an orally transmitted teaching. All one needs is to hear the words, the teachings of Jesus and use them in the examples of life.

 

Like I have said many times before, if the the "spirit" that guides you disagrees with the Bible and is leading you to some other "truth" then you are being mislead.

 

The facts are quite the contrary, there are invisible powerful spirit creatures roaming the world.

And if so how are we to be carefully examining the Scriptures daily?

 

The bible is all questions are no answers, from the size of this thread you can be lead to believe such things anyways.

I say we so that you understand it is not just you, this is a law of condition, the measure you give is the measure you get.

Another way to say it would be to see truth is to see the whole truth, however this phrase is harder to comprehend on it's face. We are used to considering that if a person tells a lie he is a liar, but seldom do we consider that a person who tells the truth is a truth teller. I am in no way waterbrother, attempting to unseat you.
