I feel like at first some African-Americans maybe didn't embrace the idea of Barrack Obama as a real African-American.

Kamala Harris is similar to him in that regard, and in that they both practiced law if I'm not mistaken...

But I think Harris has an opportunity to harness the momentum behind BLM ending injustice, and furthering equality for people of color. If she gets up and says so, she's black as night!
