As another man who is not to be messed with, I have found that life is easier if I know when I'm being "messed with." The time to assert strength is when it is actualy needed. If I were constantly worried about what others might think or do, I spend too much time dealing with people who are overconcerned with apperance and reputation. People who "look right through me" are fine. I wait until they try walking through me before doing anything.
