    Not really. The rastafari religion is often asociated with weed, but it neither promotes or demotes it. However, the bible says, something along the lines of "God gave us plants and herbs to use" so, arguably, many rasta's do smoke weed.

    One of the most drug abusers were:
    The HAPPY MONDAYS one of the most successfull british band of the late 80's ... They release two good album and a classic album (1990) All members were into exctasy all along the day with pot ,crack, alcool, or sometimes acid too and a lot of cocaine or heroin too...
    The band exploted in 92 after the deception of their last album... too many dealers were with them while the recording process of their last album at their new shining caraibean studio... the band were losing the plot...and were becoming crack addict (the singer became very violent at the end).
    It's just rock with good dance influence but in the good way.
    They are cult in England and i recommend their album "Pills Thrills & Bellyaches" (90) before the aftermath of their drug abuse will knock at the new door of their new propriety.
