My hubby was my friend in highschool and was always with different girls. We were talking about that recently and he said that when a guy is 16-18 years old, he just needs to "put it somewhere"! It's not usually about making the girl feel good, it's just somewhere to put it. (Nice, huh?) Maybe that's why guys my age never did anything for me... When I was 19 I moved out west with a 28 year old guy and the sex was grrrreat. Much better than with the guys my age. So I say go for it, if you two like eachother than age shouldn't hold you back, honey! (Side note here, I am very glad that my husband and I got together when he was 20 and was over the whole "just needing somewhere to put it" thing...ugh..) Oh, also, my dad is 11 years older than my mom and they have been together for almost 26 years.
I've recently come into a situation with an older guy as well. He's just turned 27 and I've just turned 18. It's only a 9yrs difference, and we get along splendidly. He isn't anything like any of the boys I meet that are my age. My parents are 12yrs apart, and a lot of the girls in my family end up marrying guys that are about 6-10 yrs older then them. I just assumed I'd end up with an older guy as well. I'm going to go for it though, age difference or not I'm really quite fond of him. You only live once.
My friend Mae, who was 18, lost it to a guy that was 32 years old, and man did she get screwed in more ways than the obvious. He, of course, didn't want anything out of it but the sex itself, because she was just a piece of fresh teenage-girl meat. If sex is all you're looking for, doll, go for it, but if it's love you're seeking, forget it. Older guys usually only have one-track minds when it comes to younger girls. Not to be stereo-typical, guys, but be honest, it's the norm.
glad to see so many who agree that its no big deal. Now..who wants to go out and catch a movie and dinner with me?
i was engaged to a 27 year old woman a year ago, she had a 5 year old son to and i was sooo ready to be a dad. but fate took a differant turn and she left me because she wasnt ready for marraige i guess.
Me? i'm 43 now. the older you get the faster the time seems to fly. i swear i can clearly remember sitting in a chair waiting to go visit Disney world tomorrow. that was 30 years ago. WHAT HAPPEN? dam that weekend went fast.
My fiance and I are the love of each others' life, and I'm 27 and he's 20. We've been together since he was 16. Age difference means nothing.
Yip, my fiancee is 21 and i'm 28 - works fine for us!! Saying that, I had a thing with a woman who was 10 years older than me - I did find the age thing a problem there, not in any physical manner, that was great - but she never really wanted to do the same things as me.
