I recall lots of girls with Bowie haircuts back in the 70's. He wanted to be a pop star, and that's what he became. I like a few of his tunes, but mostly I find his music lacks depth.

Sad to see him go though, as it makes me feel old.

i don't seem to enjoy the music of david bowie. ...except Dance Magic. that song is the shit.

 

How many of his albums have you listened to?

 

i haven't listened to much of his stuff to be fair. but after his recent death, i've given a few listens. i never seem to make it very far.

 

I think Ziggy Stardust is one of the most consistent albums ever made. There is not a single bad song on that album.
