bob marley died?

I remember when Bob Marley died. It was a week before my 18th birthday and about 3 or 4 weeks before I graduated from high school. A teacher in our school brought in a bunch of his records and a turntable and said "Bob Marley died yesterday. I want you all to know who we've lost" then she played Marley's music for the rest of the hour.

He died of cancer at the age of 36 in 1980 im not sure exaclty but it was in the 80's for sure when he was little he predicted he would die at the age of 36 it was pretty wierd....i read a book on him and finished it after a test in school

 

He went to a doctor and the docter said to amputate it but he refused because he said something like rastaman dont disasmble a man and just got his skin graphted but it didnt work so there for it spread throough his body and he died 8 months after his last concert

i thought he was playing soccer and he hurt his toe and thats when they found out he had cancer, and it spread throughout his body into his brain and died in his 30's pretty sad, he could have still been alive but he had lots of kids and made soo many people happy and made great music that at his age when he died i feel he accomplished a lot

 

all i know is that the power definately was in the herb.... i mean come on... he had cancer for 4yeads..... with no treatment and only smoking herb..... 4years!!! most people back then probably died within a year of having cancer.....

 

he died in 1981 of a brain cancer in new york
