I went to high school with a girl who had scoliosis, I don't know how she is doing now.

I know that must cause a lot of pain. It looks very painful.

I have scoliosis too but not nearly that bad, it was discovered in adulthood but did some nerve damage before it was discovered as well as other damage because it was untreated. I didn't know I had anything, just thought my issues were part of life.
Funny thing is there were obvious signs of it in my posture and my gait when I was younger but doctors didn't seem to care and now the best option is to work on what it damaged and tap it in so I go for treatments with a thing called an activator. I get a great massage after. It seems to help so far, I had to get a lift in one shoe and will probably have hip surgery because of it. Things will get better tho, I keep working on it. It's why I had to start a business at home and quit working for others because I couldn't stand or sit a long day anymore. Now I stand or sit or snooze when I need to and try to exercise.
