you need Joel Olsteen in your life.. I actually find this guy very amusing and full of good advice.. for a christian.
Ya Joel reps my block. The guys like a rockstar haha, he preaches at The Summit, the Rockets old arena.
eh, this is not always the case... but usually the always bored, are indeed, boring. Or they are 12 and have not discovered masturbation yet.
Put on your winter layers and get outside- no matter how cold it is... get some light and be active... just give it a try- consider this a prescription.
I've been reading a book on Buddhism and it actually says this lol. And to the OP: Find a girlfriend, life will be fun.
Well I mean, come on. How is it even possible to be "bored with life"? There's like an unlimited amount of things for you to do/feel/think/experience And even if you've done everything there is to do in the whole universe, you can always sit back and just marvel at it all.
Well, I think most people seem to mean "I'm bored with my life" rather than "I'm bored with life" as in everything there is do in the universe. Regardless, if people didn't get bored with their lives once in awhile, I think the world would be quite different: less books, art, religion, technology, etc. Hell, what does all this even mean? I am all at once bored and interested in life, they seem to depend on each other.
It's the same difference. How do you say something like "I'm bored with life", and not mean it subjectively? Dunno, personally it seems to me that inventions and art are born from a fascination and wonder for the mysteries that life offers.
It certainly seems possible that some of that fascination and wonder at the mysteries of life could have resulted from boredom with life at the moment. But I said, "Well, I think most people seem to mean "I'm bored with my life" rather than "I'm bored with life" as in everything there is do in the universe. As in someone who would say, "I am bored with my life. My daily routine and what I am doing with my time has become boring, because I am aware of that life has more to offer." That seems to be the OP.
If you are bored of your routine and the immediate circumstances of life, then either change how you see them or change them.
Good advice, but sometimes things aren't that simple. That being said, it seems the OP's case is that simple. He is 16 and wanting to grow up and get out of the house already, so life seems boring, which I think is pretty easy to relate to and understand.
Some of the most exciting and best years of my life. But that doesn't change the fact that I can relate and understand if someone of that age is saying they are bored with their life. At that age there are times it can feel like you are just planning for your future.
