bout to get some dreads

If you have dreads please please wash your hair. If not for your own benefit than at least for the sake of those who are forced to exist in the same physical space with you.

 

i don't see a whole lot of native americans with dreads. i've got the hair, if nothing else.

Hahahaha. When I was around 16, I was into the hippy thing, bit I was still 'Caitlin' if you know what I mean. There was no way I was going to get dreads if they werent perfect from the get go, so I went to a salon for a consultation. I ended up not going for it.

My natural hair is tres thick and naturally beachy waves, and its blonde so it knots up fast. I wash it twice a week (keeps it moisturized that way, as it is more dry than greasy always), and condition LOTS.

(Coming from a guy that had dreads and didn't need to do anything special to get it).
