Yes but it depends on age and health. I have edged since my mid twenties and I attribute my sexual health at 74 as excellent due to edging. Use it or lose it. However no one can control health due to genetics. Yet sexual activity does help in that area.

Not edging, not suppressing ejaculation (NEMO), not Tantric. Full on natural ejaculatory orgasms during intercourse. The same as women: sustaining a high level of arousal through several orgasms over a long session. I know one gent (a relative) who is experiencing full on natural orgasms at age 74.

Unfortunately, study of male sexual patterns seems to be taboo. There are no good studies of castrate men who have sex, few on men who have multiple natural orgasms. Probably the best study is by Dunn and Trost.

  3. Thanks for clarifying regarding natural orgasm.

  4. Many things affect each person some are naturally genetically gifted. Others are not. I was mostly referring to how the average male population reacts post ejaculation versus women and again in depends on both physical genetic makeup. But again thank you for clarifying.

I'm interested in men being aware of the possibility and paying attention to their own pattern. I'm concerned that some men react according to the standard stereotype and may not realize they don't respond the same way.

Dunn and Trost say, "It may be that our traditional expectations regarding the possible limited range of male orgasmic capacity have profoundly influenced men's behavior as well as research in this area."

Wow I am a little jealous I do find I am horny more now at 75 then I was 20 or 30 years ago and seem to masturbate longer before orgasming but usually only an hour or two.

There may be a difference between YOUR orgasm and your BFs orgasm. Or there may just be a difference between how each of you respond to an orgasm. But none of that necessarily applies to anyone else. For all the talk about how female orgasms are “more powerful” or “longer” than male orgasms, nobody can really say this with any credibility and it always comes down to anecdotes. There are no scientific studies demonstrating any differences in sensation and there’s no way to demonstrate any of these claims objectively. So it leaves people to speculate based on how thing appear to them. Regarding multiple orgasms, some women are capable of them - others are not. The same is true for men. There is no standard answer that applies to all women or all men.

[…orgasmic response varies greatly between (and within) individuals, and in particular, women. Thus, rather than expecting a singular and universal female-typical or male-typical orgasmic response profile, we should not be surprised by substantial variability within each gender, since an individual’s orgasmic functioning may reflect idiosyncratic developmental events, and possibly also particular evolutionary strategies (Wlodarski & Dunbar, 2015).]
